Xanthelasma
Xanthelasmas are localized accumulations of cholesterol that appear around the eyes. They typically manifest as asymptomatic yellowish papules or plaques on the eyelids. They can be treated with an ultra-pulsed CO2 laser, which allows for removal on an outpatient basis with a quick and comfortable healing period. Below you can see a case treated by dermatologist Didac Barco.
