Is there a problem with getting a keloid tattoo to disguise it?
Keloids are abnormally large scars in proportion to the wound that causes them. Their presence translates into an altered healing capacity in that area.
It should be taken into account that the tattoo is done by microinjections to introduce the pigment into the skin, which involves a large number of small traumas with the piercings, which will later have to be repaired through a healing process.
Applying a tattoo on or around a keloid only increases the likelihood that the keloid will increase in size or that other keloids will appear in the area, so it is not a recommended practice.
