Didac Barco completes the Master’s Degree in Aesthetic Dermatology
Dr. Didac Barco has completed his project for the III Master’s Degree in Aesthetic Dermatology.
The project he has carried out is a review of the efficacy of the non-ablative fractional laser for the treatment of atrophic acne scars, comparing this technology with other techniques used such as ablative lasers, radiofrequency and the new laser systems combined with thulium. In this way, an exhaustive study has been carried out on the different therapeutic methods to address the management of acne scars and marks.
In conclusion, it should be noted that currently the non-ablative fractional laser is the therapeutic option with the best result/comfort ratio of all those used: ablative lasers, radiofrequency, dermabrasion, medium/deep peels or surgical techniques.
Dr. Didac Barco’s study will be published in the coming months in a journal of monographs on dermatology studies.
